Note About Opening and Closing Dates…
- Vacancy announcements all have an opening date and a closing date for receipt of
applications. Read the announcement carefully to see when applications must be
submitted—in most cases, they must be received by the office specified in the
announcement on or before the closing date of the announcement.
- The FAA Career Opportunities job listing is based in Washington, DC which is
located in the Eastern Time Zone. This is important when searching for
jobs because each vacancy announcement appears on the web site at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time
on its opening date and disappears at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the closing date.
